It is a pleasure to give you the most cordial welcome to the fifth edition of the International Meeting on Mathematical Sciences (V EICM).
On this occasion, we are pleased to inform you that this event will be in honor of the 100th anniversary of the death of the illustrious Peruvian mathematician Federico Villarreal.
The event will be held virtually, which will allow greater participation and collaboration between researchers, teachers and students, especially those dedicated to the fascinating world of mathematics, as well as academics from different universities both from Peru as from all over the world.

For this edition, we have scheduled mini-courses and plenary lectures given by outstanding researchers, recognized for their solid career and significant contributions to the field of mathematics. We have also prepared a series of lectures covering various topic areas, including:
Objectives
As in previous editions, our main objective is to disseminate mathematics at all levels, encouraging undergraduate students to venture into research and consider the possibility of pursuing graduate studies in this exciting science. Likewise, we aim to create a space conducive to interaction and collaboration between researchers, giving them the opportunity to present their projects and work in development and/or completed.
Organization and support
The organization of this fifth meeting is under the responsibility of the Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruíz Gallo (UNPRG) and the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas (FACFyM), with the enthusiastic support of the Colegio de Matemáticos (COMAP) - Región Lambayeque.
