2018
I EICM
The first International Meeting on Mathematical Sciences (I EICM) was held on December 13 and 14, 2018 at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo (UNPRG) with the support of the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas (FACFyM), located in the city of Lambayeque-Peru.
The initiative was taken by two professors who graduated from said university, one of them is currently working at a university in Brazil and the second works at UNPRG.
For that first event, they called a group of graduate students who were studying in Brazil and invited them to disseminate their research work. In addition, it was decided to hold an Edition of the meeting annually, with expectations of participation of more graduates and guests in order to disseminate it in the mathematical community.
The I EICM was focused on providing undergraduate Mathematics students with a broader vision of the various areas of research, and as a consequence encouraging them to pursue postgraduate studies at national or foreign universities. The programming of this meeting consisted of a total of 3 plenary sessions offered by research professors and 6 conferences by postgraduate students, the majority being graduate of the carrer of Mathematics of the UNPRG.

2019
II EICM
The second edition (II EICM) took place from December 18 to 20, 2019 at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo, once again counting on the support of the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas. In this meeting we had the collaboration and participation of graduated students of said institution, disseminating their research work as posgraduate students.

2021
III EICM
Because the situation that the world experienced during the year 2020, caused by the COVID-19 virus, unfortunately the event was postponed to the following year.
Due to the persistent situation of the pandemic, it was decided to hold the third edition (III EICM) virtually on December 16 and 17, 2021. This edition was organized by the Colegio de Matemáticos del Perú (COMAP)-Lambayeque’s Region, with sponsored by the Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo and the Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas. In this event we had the participation of research professors from Universities of Chile and Brazil, adding a total of 8 plenary sessions, in addition to 18 conferences from various national and foreign universities.

2022
IV EICM
The fourth Edition (IV EICM) was held on December 14 to 16, 2022 completely virtually. For the execution of this event we have the support of COMAP – Lambayeque Region, the sponsorship of UNPRG, the Universidad del Bío Bío and the Universidad Austral de Chile. For the first time in all editions we had 3 mini-courses offered by research professors from renowned Universities in Brazil and Chile. We also have the participation of research professors and postgraduate students from the Universities of Brazil, Chile, France, the United States, Spain and Peru, totaling 8 plenary sessions, 22 conferences and 5 communications.
